Be(e) The Defender
Be(e) The Defender is a interactive project, where you play as a bee defending the hive from invading wasps. Developed as part of our Responsive Environments course, the game focuses on simple interactions, such as moving side to side and flapping your wings to successfully fend off the attacking wasps.

Background Design
As part of the course, we got asked, where our interactive piece would be displayed. We decided, that an interactive children's exhibition about bees or insects would be the place for our project. Since the target audience are young visitors, the focus for the design was on round shapes and a colorful but simple look. The background layers are separated to create a parallax effect, giving the world more depth and making it feel more alive.
